Life and Science is a quarterly, peer reviewed, open-access, online  journal of clinical and basic translational sciences, working as an independent knowledge provider platform for National University of Medical Sciences, (NUMS), Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
 
Aim, Objectives and Scope

The ‘Life and Science’ reflects the key purpose of ‘understanding and improving life’ with the belief that life and health are determined by biological, environmental, immunological, nutritional, genetic, and social factors. The aim is to serve as a leading multidisciplinary platform for publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed, evidence-based research that advances multidisciplinary research, promotes ethical scientific communication, and contributes to improved patient care, population health, and global knowledge.

  • To publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research across multidisciplinary fields of medicine, biomedical sciences, public health, and allied health sciences, including biological, environmental, genetic, behavioral, and social determinants of health.
  • To promote evidence-based, multidisciplinary research and scientific communication that advances and integrates biomedical, clinical, public health, and social sciences to address complex health challenges and improve patient care and population health.
  • To disseminate timely and credible research that upholds the highest standards of publication ethics, scientific integrity, and editorial excellence while fostering knowledge exchange for the benefit of stakeholders.
The journal predominantly welcomes submissions of original research from the broader domains of basic and applied health sciences, clinical and translational research, medical genetics and infectious diseases, public health, biological sciences, health professions education, and emerging areas of health research. The journal publishes under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). All the research articles are freely available online.
